After 20 years in his wonderful home Peter Pearce is offering his stunning four-bedroom house on the exclusive Kingston Gorse estate on the West Sussex coast in a prize draw bid to raise a minimum of £150,000 to support the vital work of St Barnabas House hospice and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.

Peter sadly lost his own father to cancer 12 years ago and St Barnabas cared for him in his final days. He is now offering the chance to win this dream home for just £2 a ticket.

Stamp duty up to £91,250 is covered, including second home duty and your legal fees up to a maximum of £1,200. This would be a huge bill normally and all that worry is taken care of.

St Barnabas House and Chestnut Tree House (registered charity number 256789) will benefit from 10% of gross sales and there is no limit to the size of the donation.

There is also no limit to the number of tickets you can buy, so the more you have the greater your chance of winning this life changing prize.

Painter’s Keep permit one free entry per person and all entries are treated equally. If the minimum number of paid entries is not reached, there will be a cash prize based on 80% of net ticket sales! The charity will receive 10% of gross ticket sales however many tickets are sold!

Enter now for your chance to win the prize of a lifetime and help a great cause in the process.

Closing date 1st November 2020

Take a closer look…

The winning ticket holder will be able to live in one of the most prestigious locations on the south coast. Professionally valued by independent valuers at £1.25 million earlier this year, this is a very special opportunity to win a true dream home.

Painter’s Keep’s distinctive nature stands out along the treeline with its commanding views to the north across open fields and on towards the South Downs. Built in 1925 and beginning its life as the estate’s water tower, it was converted to a dwelling in 1955 when it first acquired its distinctive name of Painter’s Keep (known locally as The Tower).

The area

Sitting at the end of the appropriately named Seaview Avenue, Painter’s Keep occupies a prime south facing position in a quiet location, (with the beach just 200m metres away) is fitted with electric gates and has ample parking.

Plants and wildlife flourish here with the secluded and secure front garden, that is bordered on all sides, offering complete privacy.

Ground floor

Entering the property you are greeted with an impressive entrance hall. To the left is a large living room with French doors that open on to the south facing patio and garden and windows to the north looking out over the fields.

To the right you enter the modern kitchen. Like the living room, the kitchen has French doors opening onto the south facing patio and the north windows look out over the fields. Beautifully equipped with two MasterChef Neff slide and hide ovens, an amazing Tesla induction hob, Neff dishwasher and integrated fridge freezer, as well as a large island and space for a dining table or sofa space to complete the picture.

Utility room

A door via the utility room (fitted with storage units, sink, washing machine and tumble dryer) provides access to the beautiful outside, or as an easy way in after long country walks, with damp dogs or muddy boots.

The first floor (master bedroom, 2nd and 3rd bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, dressing room and private balcony)

The first-floor landing is an impressive space. To the east you will find two double bedrooms, both with luxurious en-suite bathrooms. The south facing bedroom has French doors opening onto a Juliet balcony with glimpses of the sea. The bedroom to the north looks out over the fields. A secret door at the rear of the landing leads to a private balcony where you can watch the sun go down, a glass of wine in your hand.

To the west of the landing you enter the impressive and spacious master bedroom with en-suite and dressing room. It too has French doors, a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden and sea glimpses.

The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a luxurious steel ‘tapless’ double bath, separate shower and high-quality vanity unit. Tiled floors in the bathroom with electric underfloor heating and wall hung WC’s, as well as Mira shower trays, Bristan, Roca and Crosswater taps and fittings, Kudos shower doors, towel rails and mirrors.

2nd floor (fourth bedroom)

Taking the stairs from the landing to the second floor you reach a fourth bedroom. The fourth bedroom is ideal for a guest, for children or even a second home office.

Third floor (observatory)

One short flight of stairs takes you to the property’s crowning glory – the observatory. This amazing and unique space occupies the entire top floor of the building. Stunning panoramic views to the south, east and west look out and over the estate and to the sea. To the north a picture window gives you views of Goodwood, Highdown, High Salvington and the historic Cissbury Ring.
